Our Strathaven B&B has a choice of two styles of accommodation. The Manaia wing has its own entrance and is self contained with private kitchenette and deck where you can enjoy the morning sun. Two bedrooms, small lounge, TV/DVD and spacious, luxurious bathroom. The Tui is a large private double room with en-suite and expansive sea views.
Strathaven B&B overlooks garden, orchard, estuary, dunes and the offshore Islands of Waipu and Bream Bay. It lies halfway between the township of Waipu and the sands and surf of Waipu Cove. You can swim at the stunning patrolled Waipu Cove beach, take an easy walk along to the nearby wildlife refuge, or visit one of the region’s many white sand beaches. Waipu Village also offers regular monthly weekend markets, a variety of cafes and restaurants, and Waipu Museum to re-live the town's fascinating Scottish history. Wearing of tartan encouraged on all occasions!

Turn off State Highway 1 at the sign to Waipu, drive straight ahead through the township towards Waipu Cove and the property is signposted on your right 4 km from the township at the open road sign.
Directions from Whangarei:
Turn off State Highway 1 at the sign to Waipu, drive into the township, turn left towards Waipu Cove, and the property is signposted on your right 4 km from the township at the open road sign.
